Keythe Farley is an award winning Director/ Writer/ Actor.

Keythe started out as a radio disc jockey and singing telegram messenger in Sacramento California. He moved to Los Angeles to study Theatre Film and Television at UCLA.

After graduation, Keythe went to work as a performer. He appeared on TV shows such as Full House and Beverly Hills 90210, and in films like And the Band Played on for HBO. Keythe has performed onstage at The Ahmanson Theatre, The Cleveland Playhouse and in theatres and opera houses around the world as The Voice of Big Brother in a production of George Orwell's 1984 directed by Tim Robbins.

In 1994, Keythe took a job as a Production Assistant at Klasky/ Csupo Animation Studios. He worked on cartoons like Duckman, MAD TV and Rugrats. Three years later, Keythe was offered the position of Voice Director for Rugrats. That experience led to Rugrats video games, which introduced Keythe to the world of performance for that medium. He’s been very busy directing game titles (God of War, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy XV, Dying Light) and animated series (Adventure Time, Fright Krewe) for nearly thirty years.

Keythe is also co-author of Bat Boy: The Musical which won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off Broadway Musical. Bat Boy recently received a revival production in 2025 as a part of the Encores Series at City Center New York.

Across all of these disciplines, Keythe applies the concept of Stakes and States: his focus is always on what a character wants (what’s at Stake) and how the character feels as they get closer to or farther away from their goal (the [emotional] States).

Above all, Keythe is a storyteller. He works with the intention that the performer and director are partners whose job it is to take what’s on the written page to the intended audience with clarity, precision and emotional depth.
