As an in-demand dialogue and casting director, Lisa Schaffer has spent her career working with some of the most talented people in the Animation industry. Her expertise has earned her multiple Emmy nominations and the opportunity to work on an impressive list of shows including: The Loud House, Teen Titans Go, Boss Baby, Kim Possible and The Penguins of Madagascar for which she won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Directing in an Animated Program. Lisa brings energy, collaboration and creativity to her work. She believes the real fun and sense of pride comes when her contribution, helping an actor push to a level they have never reached or opening a show runner’s eyes to a new interpretation of a moment, can contribute to the elevation of the overall piece. Collaboration in the recording booth is a process unlike any other, and she loves it!

When she is not working, Lisa has an affinity for all things that sparkle, collecting art and hanging out with her rescue dog, Bea Arthur.

Participants will select from animation copy VAN provides and will be given direction and feedback in-studio!
