Emmy and Annie-nominated voice actor Dee Bradley Baker has built an impressive voice acting resume’ working over two decades in Los Angeles, lending his versatile acting range to hundreds of television shows, movies and video games.
Currently Dee is recording a thirteenth season of TBS’s “American Dad” (for which he received an Emmy nomination for voicing Klaus, the goldfish), as well as new episodes of “Sponge Bob” (Bubble Bass, Perch Perkins; Nickelodeon), “The New Looney Tunes Show” (Daffy Duck, WB), “Vampirina” (Mr. Gore, Disney), “Shimmer and Shine” (critters, Nickelodeon), “Muppet Babies,” (Animal, Disney) and “Star Wars: Rebels” (Captain Rex, Lucas Animation).
If you grew up in the 90’s you’ll recognize Dee as the voice of “Olmec” in Nickelodeon’s “Legends of the Hidden Temple,” and more recently in Nickelodeon’s “Avatar” animated series as all the creature sounds (Momo, Appa, Pabu, etc.)
Dee is the go-to guy in Hollywood for animals, monsters and alien sounds for television, movies and video games (Halo, Gears of War, Destiny, World of Warcraft).
Dee has been acting since second grade and has a diverse performing career that finally focused into a voice acting career around the age of 30. He occasionally finds time for teaching and writes for his blog,www.iwanttobeavoiceactor.com, which offers free and comprehensive insight into the art and business of voice acting, that is viewed by hundreds per day.
